State joint stock company "Žuvis" in 1994 was re-registered as a public limited company "Žuvis" and in 2000 was re-registered as JSC "Kauno Žuvis".

Company's main activity - immovable objects rental and cargo handling (loading/unloading), wholesale trade of fish.

Services

UAB "Kauno Žuvis" offers these services:

Warehousing of food and not food products
Storage with -18°C temperature regime
Storage with +5°C temperature regime
Dry warehousing
Loading of car and railroad vehicles
Office space for rent

We offer you protected area, control of vehicles and personnel entering and leaving. Warehouses are equipped with fire alarm systems, computerized temperature control system for refrigeration facilities. RVASVT installed system software. Handling operations carried out in covered loading/unloading ramps with forklifts.

Wholesale trade

Wholesale trade of pike perch fillets (Stizostedion Lucioperca)

Supply of pike perch fillets from Kazakhstan.
Products supplied by the EU accredited makers in Kazakhstan.
Packaging is made by company with HACCP and EU licenses.
Pike perch fillets can be served in accordance with customer needs: wrapped in 5 kg or 10 kg boxes, glazed with 10%, 15% or 20% glaze, boxes are made according to customer needs.
Supplied fillet sizes: 70/120 g, 120/170 g, 170/230 g, 230/300 g, 300/500 g, 500/800 g, 800+ g.

Sustainability

UAB "Kauno žuvis" applied for a joint project "Investicinė parama saulės elektrinėms sausumoje" and installed the solar power plant that generates 99.9 kW of power.

A joint project was implemented in accordance with the economic growth and independence plan "Naujos kartos Lietuva", which is financed by the European Union's economics growth and independence measure "NextGenerationEU".

UAB "Kauno žuvis" uses electricity produced from renewable energy sources (RES) in its operations, thereby promoting the development of energy production from RES, reducing its environmental impact, and contributing to climate change mitigation.
